Dave's Agency was founded by Mr. David Goh Sui Leong in 1983. Before opening his own business, he worked as a salesman in Borneo Traders Motors in 1977 at the age of 19. In 1980, he worked in Boustead Sdn Bhd, also as a salesman.

After gaining sufficient experience, he began to venture on a personal business in 1983. It was during this time whereby Dave's Agency was established and began selling used cars.

In 1984, Dave's Agency was incorporated and became the authorized dealer of TCY Motors Sdn Bhd until 1988. In 1989, Dave's Agency Sdn Bhd (DASB) wanted to become more independent and became the sole distributor for Alfa Romeo and Seat in Brunei, which eventually down-sized till late 1996.

However, it was during this long downfall that made Mr. David Goh regained his confidence and started expanding DASB which lead to becoming the authorized dealer of Boustead Sdn Bhd selling Nissan and Suzuki new cars. Presently, DASB no longer caters to Nissan and Suzuki automobiles.

In September 2008, DASB resumed its business of buying and selling used cars, ranging from local and imported from Japan and Singapore. With years of experience and trust garnered from customers of DASB, it has indeed established itself as a trusted used car company.
